Windows Installer - Can i downgrade from 4.5 to 3.1 ?
I have installation of software which fails on my WinXP.
I tried on other WinXP works OK.
After troubleshooting i found out that first WinXP has windows installer 4.5 (fails ) and other has Windows installer 3.1

I couldn't find any way to downgrade back to 3.1 or to uninstall windows installer.

Any ideas?

Try to install that windows installer version 4.5 again, as I know you can't downgrade if some of registry file has been submitted
