Windows XP Errors
My friend needs my help this weekend with her computer, she is getting the following 2 messages and she can't use her Internet Explorer.
This is from her email to me last night: When I first turn on the computer and it all sets up, I get two errors. 1st-error - couldn't load libray/top serarch.dll 2nd-error - Rundell error loading:c:winnt/System32/ bridge.dll - this specified module could not be found. When I open the short cut to the Internet Explorer, I get the message: Adp module:bargains.exc application error, The instruction "0x77f5l3f" referenced memory at 0x32017800. The memory could not be written. Click ok to terminate program. Then, it says, Internet Explorer has encountered a problem & needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience. Then it shuts down. ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME WOULD BE APPRECIATED, THANKS TO ALL! |

You have a virus or spyware on the computer.

I see OS reinstall.
This problem sounds like another Kazaa victim. I just reinstalled the OS of a machine that had good antivirus and was all up to date with Windows Update and the error was the same as yours. Some of the IE toolbars are malicious. They may look fancy dancy, but the truth is that some of them cause more harm than good. After you reinstall the OS, you may want to use a Mozilla based browser like Firefox. I don't use IE anymore, your friend may have to do the same thing. Click Here for Firefox Homepage |
