Well, it doesn't really work that way, however, you can set your folders to private, making yourself an administrator, and set the kids level to limited. Remember, on the 2nd drive, any folder you want private, you must go to properties and set it to private.

Folder Permissions
I would highlight the folders on your second hard drive, right mouse click them, goto properties, select the security tab then remove all the user accounts. Now click add, and select your login user account or type it in, give that account full control and then I think you click advanced and tell it to ?inherit? or something like that, and then select apply and wait and it will go through all the subfolders and files and change the permissions on each of them to only allow your account access to those files. after doing that sign in with the other account and try to browse those files, if done right, or if I have explained it right, that account should not be able to access those files.

First off, which version of Windows XP are you using? This can only be done in Windows XP Professional.
You can use Group Policy to hide the drive or you can make the drives contents Private. In earlier versions, I'd recommend a third-party encryption utility. ![]()
