I'm running a Celeron 633 MHz with Windows ME. I get an "explorer error 424" & 'object required'. This happens a few minutes after boot-up and the computer is completely locked up. I though I had done a clean reinstall of ME, but apparently not. Two questions then: 1. Does anyone know what this is - I didn't find it on Microsoft's website.
2. How in fact, do I do a clean reinstall of ME using a startup disk?
