I need to automate the removal of all GW user profiles for about 200 machines using vbscript. I don't even know where to start. Can someone (Nilpo - perhaps) craft a solution for me? Thanks in advance.

I'm betting he can help you. But first, he going to need to know what you mean by GW. lol

automating the removal of Groupwise local user profiles
I have about 200 machines with various versions of the Groupwise client installed on them. The goal is to upgrade them all to the most recent version. The problem is that almost all of the profiles have somehow become corrupt and can't see the address book. I need to automate the removal of the Groupwise local profile(s), some machines have multiple users, using VBscript. Can you help?

And you want to remove all profiles, correct? Finally, how is your network set up? Are you going to deploy this as a network log on script, or do you wish to connect to each machine individually from one location? You'll also need a user with Administrator privileges on each machine. I'm assuming you already have this. |

automating removal of Groupwise local user profiles.
Version 6.5.3 through 7.0.2 with some machines having multiple versions installed at same time.... I don't know why.
I want to remove ALL local groupwise profiles. I need to connect to each machine individually from one location. I have a txt file with machine name and IP in it that a script could loop through and connect. Each user is "supposed" to have local Admin rights and I'm sure 99% of them do. |

The user running the script will need to have the proper credentials on each machine. Otherwise, you'll need another file with user names and passwords so that you can pass proper credentials each time you connect. |

automating the removal of Groupwise local user profiles
I have a tech login account on each machine with local admin rights that I can run the script under.

Sorry, after you last post, I was under the impression you didn't need this any more. I'll get back on it.
