Network/Wired - Authentication to access a shared folder using smart card instead of user/pass

Hi

I have a domain controller for domain X and a winXP pc which is in X domain. what should I do to enable winXP machine use a smartcard (issued using CA on the domain controller for a domain user) to access a folder that is shared on the domain controller? (When I have loogged in locally on winXP machine).
The usual case is to enter username and password of a domain user when accessing the shared folder but i'd like to use smart card instead.
