Files and folders protection
Hy there! I have a big problem!
I have 2 os installed on a machine. My windows sp1 is instaled on C drive and my fathers Windows sp2 is instaled on D drive. I started working in my father' os because my os works hard! I created a folder on c drive and moved in it all my files in it!no problem now... Restarted da PC and loged on in my os.Surprise!Surprise! when i tried 2 access da folder that i created in Sp2 it apeared a message box: ACCESS IS DENIED. Althougth, i can access them from my fathers os Sp2 but in my os i cant! i've puted my hard drive in other pc! the same! Dont think that is a virus because i have f-secure updated and didnt detect nothing! I've scaned the hole PC and nothing! p.s.: my fathers os has no anti-virus! Althougth,i had some viruses a week ago but f-secure had removed them! think it was a trojan! May this b the problem? p.s.: I observed in total commander that are 2 types of folder open folders and closed! PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLLUTION AND A ADVICE HOW 2 PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING EVER! |

the reason you cant access the folder is because of user right assignment
if you want to share between OS, best way i can think is to have a seperate partition, and have this as your shared network drive. this can then be accessed by both OS as it will be shared resources. you will have to set access on both OS tho, and then map the drive into it
