Browser Security - Help!, cant download or play games

Dont know what i did, cant play games yahoo, pogo etc.cant download anything, keeps saying current security settings do not allow file to be downloaded, also applet for java not working, and my active x comes up every time asking me if ok. for content, every time I hit the enter key. I live where there is no DSL so downloads take me a long time anyway. I am so frustrated, also keeps telling me to enable cookies, they are I think. I will crash this thing if i dont quit messing with it....Please Help Me !!!!! Dana
