in all fairness i think it is necessary to post and let people know what discountasp.net hosting is really like. it is by far the worst experience i have ever had with a hosting company. i realize that there are hosting issues now and then, but discountasp will strong arm you into paying more and more every month... and they will shut your site down if you do not. they do not reply to technical support questions and they have no phone support for emergencies. they are a very unprofessional organization and i strongly recommend that anyone who uses or is considering using discountasp.net consider differently.

This customer's website exceeded the allowed monthly bandwidth usage.

DiscountASP.NET does not engage in strong-arm tactics. We believe that a customer should pay for the bandwidth that they use.

It is not our responsibility to do accurate bandwidth projections for the customer's website. This is the customer's responsibility. If they choose to add the minimum amount of bandwidth and they underestimate, this is not our fault.

If the customer paid for more bandwidth than they actually used, our Billing Department is always there to help resolve these types of issues.

Instead of accurately projecting the bandwdith for their site and paying for the bandwidth they use, they choose to complain and make these types of posts in forums.
