Hosts that don't allow registered programs?
I have a host that does not allow clients to register programs on their site. Does this mean that any self installing executable is a nono? I believe it means you can't upload programs that have executables, you can only upload static scripts.

One of my hosts says something about this. I think your description is true - you can only upload asp scripts, not executables.

too bad
I just want to be sure about that. There's all kinds of shareware and freeware that I could really use, and they come as an executables. I assume these are all executables that can install the program on the computer. I can't use any of them?
