Suggestion about hosting
Hey all!
I am catching flack from godaddy about "violating a policy" so I am curious (new to the world of hosting)... I'm not running a porn site...or anything like that, but i generate too many emails, and have therefore been "permanently suspended" ...in any event -- is there a hosting company out there that has less strict operation rules/policies? what would i google search under? any direction would be great! |

You probably won't get too many responses on a Saturday. Wait until sometime next week.
For future reference, please don't bump your post only a few hours after it has been posted. Wait at least a day or two. If you still don't have any replies, then you may bump your post again.

If you're going to have to move to a new host, I'd suggest telling them how many emails your site sends a day and ask them if this will cause a problem.
I have no idea what my hosts' policy is on sending emails, but they'd let me know if it was a problem. Just check with the sales/support staff before you sign up.

if those are spam emails (meaning the recipients have never asked or
agreed to be the target of those messages) I doubt any hosting company will agree to that, however if those are legitimate mails and you just have lots of them, then as Richy here said, you should tell the host in advance and probably they will charge you extra. |

Most companies will have problems if you are sending bulk emails or spam. This could permanently ban their entire range or IPs from sending emails to email providers like Yahoo, MSN, or Hotmail. Nobody would want to take such a risk.
