    Setting Permissions to Access Database

I have performed the same steps several times. But I still can't insert or modify data.
I have an SQL server data base which is located in a directory which is not the same as the publish directory.
I can read the content of table in database but when I try to modify or insert a new data. It doesn't work.
    I have an II6 under windows server 2003 R2, and asp.net 3.5.

This guide is not relevant to SQL Server database as it's not single file database but rather managed database with its own permission mechanism.
    Sorry.
