Create a tcpip link to a table in a SQL DB
I am so new at this that, I am so lost as to barely recognize that I am lost.
I have created a table in a MS SQL Server Express Database to capture data from an Impinj speedway reader through an IP address and specific port (for example "Http://18.104.22.168:12345").
The Reader is configured and reading tags. I can use "Ruby" to send this information to a text or csv file but, I hope to have the SQL Db do this instead. The fields are Port_Number, AntennaID, TagID, Signal_Strength (in -db). Can someone guide me to do the same in SQL Server Express 2014. The process will eventually be added to a SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Database., but I am attempting to learn how to do this myself instead of someone else to do the programming.
I want to extend my Thanks for any and all responders

Where is your problem?
If you know how to capture data and send to any output, just create insert statement and insert record into SQL dsatabase.
