Parser Error Message: -Server Error in '/' Application.

We have a web site built using classic asp.
I have added few appx pages under the Virtual directory(myroot) for a new requirement.
I have deployed the web.config in the myroot directory and created the bin directory and deployed the dlls.

I am calling the aspx page from the asp site.
    Now the problem is,
If I place the aspx pages under a new directory tree under myroot with out overlapping anyof the existing directories (asp directory tree), it works.

but due to the application needs, I want to create the aspx directory under the classic asp folders..

Now I get the following error..

Could anyone please help.. (Virtual directory is already configured)

    Server Error in '/' Application.

This usually means the folder you are running the app is not configured as an app folder. Go in your Microsoft Management Console and configure the folder where your aspx files reside as an app folder and let us know if it works.
